For an easy outing, start with an urban loop: the Basilica of San Valentino, the squares in the center and the viewpoints over the town offer a great glimpse of the Ternana atmosphere. Looking for nature? Head for the Nera river park: quiet paths, green banks and photo breaks guaranteed. If you're feeling more sporty, you can aim for the small, hilly roads around Marmore, with the spectacular atmosphere of the waterfalls as your reward (allow for a bit of an ascent).
