The Dolce Via is a cycling adventure through the wild landscapes of the Ardèche.

The route covers almost 90 km along the Eyrieux Valley, between La Voulte-sur-Rhône and Saint-Agrève or Lamastre via Le Cheylard.

What makes it special? You can take a ride on a superb steam locomotive, a real throwback to the past! These are real **tourist trains**: "Le Mastrou" and "Velay Express", make it easy to travel between ViaRhôna, Via Fluvia, and the Dolce Via.

This former railway line has been converted into a greenway, making it a perfect getaway from Valence, Lyon and Avignon. You can even join it if you're coming from the ViaRhôna or vice versa. The Dolce Via reveals a agricultural and industrial past fascinating through fruit tree plantations, old mills and railway structures. This well-developed route offers swimming and picnic areas, for a journey that combines gentle exertion and plenty of comfort!

Vertical rise: From 541 m to 1497 m, the Dolce Via offers a gentle gradient, ideal for all levels.

**Aménagement **: Over 110.07 km, the voie verte offers a protected cycling experience, perfect for families and beginners.

Surfacing : With 44.39 km of smooth sections, 57.61 km rough, the route promises a variety of sensations under the wheels.

Signposting: The entire route is signposted "Dolce Via", guaranteeing easy navigation.

Accommodation: Nearly 100 "Accueil Vélo" accommodations are located within 5 km of the Dolce Via, ranging from campsites to bed & breakfasts.
