A friendly shop manager, but unfortunately completely dishonest. I bought a second-hand bike for 200 euros (on which he supposedly kindly gave me a generous discount). The bike isn’t exactly new. It’s covered in rust marks (all the spokes on the front wheel are rusted), the dynamo cables are cut and hanging loose, there’s a rear-view mirror fitted but it’s useless, and the rear tyre is completely worn down. I asked him if the tyre would last very long. He replied that he could replace it for me, but at my own expense. I had no choice, so I agreed and bought the bike. Out of curiosity, I popped into another bike shop in Lège-Cap-Ferret to get a professional’s valuation of the bike: between 80 and 120 euros at the very most! This confirmed my feeling that I’d been ripped off!
