Hello everyone, I’d like to share my bad experience with this garage, which you should avoid at all costs. Let me explain to avoid any confusion. I visited this garage – let’s call it the 4x4 specialist – on Tuesday 7 October 2025 to buy and fit an LED light bar. The bill came to €304.40, including €180 (including VAT) for labour, which actually represents three hours’ work. On Friday 10 October 2025, I noticed that my light bar was no longer on my vehicle. I panicked and immediately thought it had been stolen during the previous night. Not at all – in fact, the light bar had fallen behind the bumper and, luckily for me, it had become wedged against the plastic cover of the engine block. The light bar simply hadn’t been screwed on!!!!!! Then I realised it wasn’t connected to the headlights and only came on via a switch located under the steering wheel – which is almost impossible to see when the ramp is in use. So I went back to that so-called 4x4 specialist garage, and the workshop manager, Francis Neboit, told me: ‘Sorry, I think my apprentice forgot to tighten the bolts!!!!’ As for the wiring, he said it wasn’t possible to connect it to the headlights. I checked with several car electricians and they all confirmed that it is possible to connect an LED light bar to the headlights!!!! So I made another appointment with this garage to try and get the installation rectified. After a long discussion with Francis Neboit, who had to check whether it was feasible, he eventually agreed to modify the wiring. To round off my misadventure, the light bar was indeed connected to the dipped headlights/main beam, but now I get interference when I turn on the radio and the indicator light for the relay located under the steering wheel no longer comes on!!!!! In conclusion, nothing was fitted properly and I received no compensation for this failure to satisfy the customer. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, and according to feedback from several people who have bought second-hand cars there, most are dissatisfied and clearly state that they’ve been ripped off. In short, give this place a wide berth and never stop at this highly dubious garage. A word to the wise: please bear these facts in mind.
