Absolutely fab tour with a great guide. Pierre is passionate about Provence - the landscape, the wildlife, the history and most of all, the mountain biking! Turns out he’s rather good at it … we had a good chat about the French Olympic mountain biking team who he knows! The bikes we rode were excellent (albeit men’s seats, so a little uncomfortable for two middle aged women for 3 hours!) … definitely helpful having electric bikes as there are a few climbs. Most of the ride is fairly easy but there are some moments of steep downhills, gravel and rocks and annoying tree roots. If you’re a confident and experienced mountain biker it should be easy. We’re not, although we can ride bikes no problem but there were a few hairy/exciting moments. The whole ride was well worth it and we would definitely do it again, it was a lovely break from the hustle of Aix and a great chance to see the Saint Victoire mountain. We hardly saw anyone on the ride (Friday in early June) which made it even better. The opportunity to see the beautiful scenery of Provence was just lovely and we really enjoyed ourselves. Definitely recommend. Merci beaucoup Pierre!

We had a perfect experience biking in Provence with Pierre. To start,he is responsive, and provides great information to help decide what type of experience you want. We are road bikers, but we were so glad he convinced us to do gravel. He knows every back road and trail, and we were able to see the Provence I had always dreamed of: vineyards, ancient towns, rocky hills. We stopped in nice cafes and restaurants. I never felt like a tourist. He is lovely, the equipment good, and he is passionate about his region. This is not pampering, but it is everything we wanted from biking in Provence. I would use him again as a guide for biking, hiking, any experience really in Provence.
