This is the second time I’ve used Les Biens en Commun and I’ve been delighted with my experience. I’ve had the chance to try out a hole punch and a popcorn maker. I booked them for 4 and 3 days respectively. The appliances are in perfect working order and spotlessly clean! Their customer service team is available and responsive whenever you need them. So rather than buying expensive machines that you rarely use, I think this is a brilliant alternative!!! The service is really easy to use. I highly recommend it!

The services offered by ‘Les biens en commun’ really came in handy. I’ve hired their hammer drill twice, for varying lengths of time ranging from 2 hours to 1 day. This service has one undeniable advantage over its competitors: it’s well thought-out and tailored to the occasional, non-professional user. Tool hire companies (for DIY in my case) offer services that are completely unsuitable for a ‘weekend DIY enthusiast’, with excessive hire periods, prices and deposits! This company’s services provide a perfect solution to the problems faced by many people who have an occasional need for high-performance, high-quality, ready-to-use tools (and their accessories), whilst remaining accessible, easy to handle and safe for a novice. The storage box service is ideal for city dwellers… The only downside is that you can’t hire tools for a single day on a Sunday. The deposit (€150 in my case) can be a bit daunting the first time, but I feel it’s essential to ensure the user takes responsibility for the valuable item they’re borrowing. On top of that, the company’s explanations on this matter are clear and reassuring. Their business policies strike me as fair and inspire confidence.

The idea of renting items you only use occasionally for a few hours or days is absolutely brilliant! I picked up the carpet cleaner from a Naturalia near my home. Everything went smoothly. The machine was in perfect condition and refills of the cleaning products were provided. Also, the after-sales service was very responsive. I highly recommend it!

A really handy service when you need tools, machines or other items from time to time. I’ve hired the carpet cleaner several times to clean my furniture. Everything comes ready-packed in a tote bag, and it’s very easy to use and very effective. The customer service team is really quick to respond whenever I need them. Thank you!
