A very professional and reliable bike shop. I entrusted them with servicing my bike and fitting a tubeless set-up, and everything was carried out with great care and professionalism. The team were also very responsive when a minor issue subsequently arose with the tubeless tyres. Impeccable workshop service from start to finish, coupled with a really friendly welcome. If you’re looking to buy a new or second-hand bike, you’ll get expert advice from the shop owner, who knows his stock inside out and can recommend or suggest bikes to suit all kinds of people. The prices are reasonable and the welcome is warm. However, when it comes to the workshop, as has already been pointed out in previous reviews, the reception isn’t quite the same. Diagnoses are carried out rather haphazardly, with a view to replacing parts that don’t necessarily need replacing, and adjustments are carried out sloppily – all whilst making it very clear that it’s entirely our fault if the bike isn’t working properly. So yes, everyone would love to ride a brand-new bike every day, but in other workshops they take the time to see if they can adjust things (gears, brakes) before replacing parts. It’s a shame, as this spoils the very good impression made by the new manager.
