We have rented bikes and had several Madrid city tours with Bravo bikes. Caspar and his guides are knowledgeable about the city, very attentive to each cyclist and able to pace the tours to accommodate different interests and abilities. He organized a parks tour for our large, multi-age group prior to a family wedding that was a huge success. I highly recommend them! We’ll be back.

Caspar lead a fine tour of the main sites of Madrid. Madrid has hills, but we were able to climb them just fine on the excellent bikes. Caspar clearly knew his stuff, easily answering all our questions.

A friend and I rode the self-guided tour from Leon to Santiago de Compostela. It was a great experience thanks in part to the Bravo Bike team. We had great communication beforehand, with Amanda and Kaspar answering several questions and making sure the bikes and other equipment was what we needed. The bikes performed flawlessly, and the heavy duty panniers and handlebar bag kept our clothes, phones, and snacks dry in the inevitable rain in late October. Their choice of hotels were above our expectations; we felt a bit guilty when we talked with others who were staying in minimalist Albergues :-) The bonus bike tour of Madrid given by Alex was a great introduction to Madrid that I recommend others take advantage of. As to the ride itself, it took longer and was harder than the daily distance might indicate. It was mostly on quiet roads, although a few sections followed the dirt walking trail. The climb to O’Cebreiro was a mostly 10% or more 2000' climb on a beautiful quiet road that we really enjoyed; others that don't like hills might have a different opinion. But if you don't like hills, don't ride this section of the camino... or do it because dealing with challenges is part of an authentic camino experience...
