Welcome to CastellAmo's Elerent e-bike rental service in Castel Gandolfo.
Are you getting to Castel Gandolfo and have no idea how to get visit town and the Castelli Romani area? You can get one of our 20 e-bikes and return them at one of our 2 pick up places down the lake Albano of Castel Gandolfo when you are done: the VALE Bistrot in Via dei Pescatori 7 and the Saroli Club in Via Spiaggia del Lago 17b.

Why are we different from others? First of all, nobody else is renting e-bikes in town right now. Then, through the Elerent App, while in order to close the run you have to you have leave the bike in one of the two pick up areas (we will soon have more) or in the release areas we will create for you, in order to visit different areas before closing the run you can just pause it by locking it through the app without having to actually have a manual lock or a chain.
While our e-bikes are made for a bike sharing service, we are still waiting for the municipality to grant us parking stations in public areas, therefore it is still not possible to get them directly from the train station or the village unless we find the way to bring them to you.

Why are we also different? We are a "Community Cooperative", a new kind of cooperative in Italy designed to benefit the local area and Community, in our case the one of Castel Gandolfo and the Castelli Romani. More importantly, our aim is to promote and enhance the local area through environmental and social sustainability projects and the e-bike rental (bike-sharing) project is meant to be our first project in sustainable and integrated mobility to improve the connection between the lake and the village of Castel Gandolfo and to allow both residents and visitors to move around without having to use a car.

Should you book one pay from Lokki, we would give you a code through which you would be able to use the bike without having to pay it from the bike's QR code.
