We rented two bikes to cycle the Canal des Deux Mers, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The bikes were excellent — comfortable, reliable, and perfect for the journey. Our bikes were dropped off at our hotel in Bordeaux and collected from our hotel in Sete. Clare at Cycles Sud Ouest made everything so easy with great communication and service throughout. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cycles Sud Ouest to anyone planning a cycling trip in the area.

Cycles Sud-Ouest provided the cornerstone of a unique two-week vacation. I planned the itinerary based on my family's interests and abilities, and they helped to set us up beautifully. Communication was impeccable. The pricing was very reasonable, considering that there are other bike rental outfits charging way more. Oh, and the Canal de Garonne is so worth it. A national treasure. For kids with an electronic worldview, this is great introduction to a bigger geographic experience. Traveling on a bicycle provides direct experience of the scale of the world.

This company provided bikes for two tours that I arranged - one around the wine region's of Bordeaux the other from Tolouse to Bordeaux on the Canal Lateral. They were exceptionally helpful in the arrangements and logistics enabling pickup and drop off of the bikes at varying times and locations for the 8 riders. When my wife had issues with her own bike, they came to her rescue with another of their well equipped rentals. The cycle way along the towpath is very beautiful and should not be missed. Top marks for an exceptional company.

If you need to rent a bike for the Canal de Garonne from Bordeaux to Toulouse - this is the company to go with! Claire’s customer service, as well as the quality of the bikes were EXCELLENT!!!!!! She was also extremely accommodating when we had a last minute emergency and had to change our plans.

Clare at Cycles Sud-Ouest made it easy for bike pickup in Bordeaux and drop-off in Toulouse. Bikes were in excellent condition making cycling along the Canal de Geronne a beautiful journey.
