We hired four bikes this Thursday at lunchtime; the service was brilliant and, despite us being late when we returned at the end of the day and the shop being about to close, the staff still welcomed us with kindness and understanding. Thank you – we’ll definitely be back!!

Quick hire, reasonable prices, good-quality bikes. However, the bikes are re-let without any checks. The result: I set off on a bike that braked on its own... Next time I go back: I’ll need no fewer than three bikes, all checked by me – since the staff clearly don’t do it – to find one with proper brakes, working lights with batteries, a secure basket and a bike lock.
