Dordogne Outdoor Experience

We went with our kids and had a fantastic experience! The place was gorgeous, the instructions were clear and overall a very fun activity to do as a family. Don’t wear soft water shoes though, and especially not open sandals- follow their recommendation from the website: tennis shoes or strong closed water shoes.

My cousins and I did the water hike with Arjen twice. A half-day and a full-day. It was truly amazing, we had a blast. On the full-day hike, the spot is truly incredible. It's definitely worth it. There's a bit of walking involved, then upon arriving at the spot, we have two slides, one small and one huge, and several jumps. The setting is ideal, we eat in peace and quiet, just listening to the sound of the waterfall and the birds. It's truly very calming and relaxing! The water hike with Arjen is great; everyone progresses at their own pace. It's suitable for children from 10 years old, no problem. I'll gladly come back to introduce water hikes to my friends and the rest of my family! See you soon, Arjen. Julie

We did the Rochettes trail with our family, two children aged 7 and 8. It was super fun and adventurous. Regular shoes, swimming gear under a wetsuit, helmet on, and off we went. Arjen speaks fluent Dutch and French. He knows a lot about the nature and the river we're going through. We saw crayfish, climbed waterfalls, jumped off a rock into the water, and slid down a natural slide. Afterwards, it was great to see our children's smiles in the photos. I didn't always notice that during the hike, because you're clambering over and under trees yourself.
