Where to begin… I asked for a quote: it was impossible to get a clear price. I was charged €40 just to have a look at a ride-on mower. I was then told it would take three weeks — fair enough, I thought. But after a month, still no word. I tried calling: a 45-minute wait only to get… no answer. So I went to the shop, where they calmly explained that my quote was still ‘pending’, that the parts hadn’t been ordered and that the repairs hadn’t even started. Seriously? Then, out of the blue, a month and a half later, I received a text message: “work completed”. The result: a hefty bill, without ever having been given a clear or consistent price from the outset. The icing on the cake: payment in instalments via Alma, but of course, the additional charges aren’t clearly displayed. In short, a total lack of communication, missed deadlines and transparency that’s highly questionable. Give them a miss and shop around elsewhere – you’ll save time… and money.

Chainsaw servicing in 2024: a simple carburettor adjustment, costing around thirty euros. A reasonably fair price, and the machine ran perfectly well after the work was carried out. I took the same chainsaw in for servicing in 2026 for a carburettor adjustment, a basic service, and a new, sharpened chain. The quote came to €250… For that, really!? I turned down the quote. So I went to collect my machine. Expert Jardin returned it to me completely dismantled. The result: a three-week wait for an exorbitant quote, a dismantled machine and a diagnostic charge of €37. I do not recommend them

I hate leaving a bad review, especially for a local shop, but in this case I simply have to express my disappointment. I took a lawnmower in for servicing (which I’d bought from them) and opted for the maximum service package at €139 to avoid any surprises. Well, they charged me an extra €25 for an ultrasonic carburettor clean because my engine was misfiring – without telling me beforehand. I tried to negotiate and managed to get a small discount of €5. Total: €159. I went home to give it a go and… the engine was still misfiring, even after letting it warm up for a good five minutes. So the ultrasonic cleaning was pointless. What I’ve realised, though, is that, as if by chance, the price of €159 matches the standard service package without the discount (I placed my order on 28 February and since then the price has gone up by €20), so they’ve just found a way to make up the difference! And you haven’t even sorted out the drive cable! I’ll have to do it myself! This is the last you’ll hear from me! There’s no point replying or trying to get in touch!

A shop that only provides support for equipment they’ve sold themselves. Not very helpful. Their advice was to get in touch with the supplier who sold me my lawnmower – EVEN THOUGH I’d made it clear beforehand that I’d recently moved out of the Paris region??? So, surprisingly – I wouldn’t have believed it – I went to the nearby BRICOMARCHÉ, which repairs all types of equipment, whether they’ve sold it or not. So, small retailers, don’t be surprised that the big chains are casting a considerable shadow over you. Adapt. I’m planning to get a robotic lawnmower, so I won’t be calling on a gardening expert. That’s how you lose a future good customer.
