Really good quality bikes and lovely service. A great way to explore the countryside. The bike shop itself is about 25 min walk from the centre but once there the route on to the ECO trail is very easy. In addition, on our return our bikes were picked up by the owner in the central plaza whilst we celebrated the day with a cold beer. A lovely chap.

The store offers both rentals and sales, and we rented two e-bikes for the day. The bikes were in good condition. The owner was extremely friendly and helped us plan a great route (Ecopista de Reguengos proved to be very good- well maintained, mostly flat, very scenic). We even received pre-filled bike bottles for free, which was very handy. Overall, a fantastic experience – highly recommended

I rented a gravel bike for 2 days from Galacio Bike and had a very nice experience. The bike was absolutely top, well maintained and equipped (even with CO2 canisters in the saddle bag). The service was really kind as well and the pick-up and drop-off times a bit more flexible than their official opening times (when announced before). Thanks 👍

Big praise for Galacio Bike! The Galacio team is passionate about cycling, whether it be high performance road, gravel or mountain biking or simply help with touring the exquisite terrain of the Alentejo. They provided the most exceptional customer service for a very reasonable price, helping with planning routes, delivering brand new, high-end Scott gravel bikes to our hotel, and having a flexible and responsive attitude to anything we needed on our trip. From our initial contact with Orlanda, to bike fit and route recommendations from Galacio and Jose, we we were in great hands for a spontaneously-planned 4 day ride in the Alentejo. Our experience with Galacio Bike was so outstanding that we visited the shop after our ride to arrange a second rental of 3 bikes for our next trip out to the coast. The shop has a full complement of bikes, components, clothing and anything you could want for your bike trip - before or after - so make sure to visit the shop if you have time! Obrigada Galacio, Jose and Orlanda—we will be recommending you guys to all our friends who want a hassle-free bike trip when they come to Portugal.

We've rented Gravel bikes for 2 days during our stay in Évora, and we could not be happier! The area is absolutely beautiful but what really made us happy, was the excellent help and service from Galacio Bikes. They fitted the bikes for us, helped with route inspiration (Strava, GPX) and made sure we had everything we needed before heading off. Honestly, the best bike rent experience we've ever had.
