Excellent Service from Happy Bikes. I hired a Canyon Carbon Road Bike for 6 days. The bike was in very good condition and didn't cause me any problems. It came with tools and a helmet included. I would highly recommend Happy Bikes

Rented a Canyon Endurace CF for a week in Jardim do Mar. Couldn't ask for a better conditioned bike, road like it was brand new. Everyone was so lovely and easy to deal with. I will rent from them again when I am back and would recommend to everyone I know coming to the island. Fantastic price service and bikes. 10/10

Dream Ride from Funchal to Pico do Arieiro and Back! Thinking about doing this ride? My wife and I (an active couple) asked HappyBikes for some tips, and it turned out to be one of the best days we had on Madeira! We received a GPX file from them (you can open it, for example, in the free mapy.cz app). The ride to the top took us about 2.5 hours, and we had plenty of time to hike the accessible part of the PR1 trail. The return ride downhill took roughly 1 hour. There are lots of restaurants and cafés along the way where you can take a break. We mostly used the “Tour” and “Sport” modes, and the battery (and our legs!) handled it just fine :) If it’s a sunny day—don’t waste it. This ride is a must! Also, the prices were very reasonable :)

This was the perfect bike rental. The lady helping us was very friendly and knowledgeable. We rented 2 roadbikes for a day and could not wish for better service. We got well-maintained carbon bikes (canyon enduraces, mechanical 105 and ultegra di2), saddlebags with all necessary tools and spare tubes were included, as well as a helmet and water bottles. You can indicate what pedals you'd like (flat or clipless) and they'll fit your bike with the correct ones. They can even fit the bikes with a mount for your bike computer if you have one.
