Happy's Experience

My mom and my 15 year old daughter all agree that our e-bike tour with Marion was the absolute highlight of our already wonderful 5 days in Bourgogne. She knows the area so well, and the countryside is exceptionally beautiful. It was our first time on ebikes, and even my 68 year old mother got the hang of it really quickly. You will absolutely not want to miss this experience, it's worth every penny. Have a delicious late lunch afterwards at Restaurant du Plateau in Nancray a short distance away, or visit the Museum of Maisons Comtoises.

This was my first experience with an e-bike. I’m almost 69. Our tour bike guide, Marion, was careful to see if I was doing ok. She was super! I would recommend her.

Super smooth rental, the organization with Marion was very simple and pleasant. I was able to enjoy 3 days of rides on an electric bike. A first experience for me!

Modern tourism poses a problem: the most famous tourist attractions are overwhelmed by an unsustainable number of tourists in the long term. Consider Carcassonne, Venice, and Barcelona—beautiful places, but where we have to follow the herd, and these cities receive a number of tourists far beyond their capacity. We must therefore reinvent tourism, and our way of traveling. "Happy's Experience" offers a magnificent alternative: ecological and human-scale tourism, in a corner of France of breathtaking beauty, far from the usual tourist crowds, and by electric bike. The organizer, Ms. Marion Michel, is a wonderful guide. In Franche-Comté, we visited the Osselle region, explored the ruins of a medieval castle, cycled along the Doubs, and above all, had an unforgettable day. I cannot recommend this joyful experience highly enough...and a huge thank you to Ms. Michel. We will certainly return to discover the other destinations she suggests.
