Such a real Surf Buddies / surf homies experience. I felt so welcome, like I was back at my own hometown surf spot. Warm vibes, fun energy, and a really cool experience overall. They have plenty of boards to choose from, and you can swap boards if you need to. These guys are truly your surf homies in town. Also, they have electric bikes with surfboard racks, which made the experience even more amazing. Definitely a 6-star experience! Big thanks, guys. Big hug from a Panamanian surfer in Biarritz.

Very friendly shop renting out bikes. They were kind enough to bring (e-)bikes even to Cambo-les-Bains. It was not high season though and you might want to check with them for availability. We rented bikes for the hilly region up to St. Jean Pied de Port and got 2 white 7-gear bikes with middle motor which looked a bit like city bikes but were fully up to the task :) They also had bags to be fixed on the rear carrier which we found way better than the "corbeilles" we got in Arcachon the week before. Unfortunately one bike had a pretty bad battery and a chain jumping freewheel teeth. But Homie drove up again to us the same evening at around 22:00 to make sure we had a fresh bike in the morning - boy, what a service! :))) The replacement bike was red and less useful (only 3 gears and difficult to use in steep hills due to the front motor), but we managed anyway to criss-cross the area and the phantastic landscapes going along with it. When we returned the bikes, we just left them at our Hotel (Ursula) and they handled everything between them directly - very nice! :) I still would advice asking for the 7-speed white bikes if you plan to do serious hills - they are better suited. Red bikes should be good for city and beach rides. And just on a side line: while the bikes are sturdy, they are no mountain bikes (VTT), so don't plan to use them on trails. All in all it was a very satisfying experience and you will rarely find someone as friendly and committed to customer service as this guy.
