Stéphane, the bike department technician, is very professional. Technical explanations. Bike set-up. Advice. Everything is done to put you at ease.

Spare parts available, a helpful warehouse assistant (bikes), who was happy to lend us the keys for the repair, and a big thank you to Steph (with his tools to hand) for his energetic help with a repair in the car park.

I took in an electric FatBike that was in a poor state of repair to have various issues sorted out; there were plenty of them and it was no easy task.
I collected it 15 days later, after, amongst other things, a complete overhaul of the braking system, the chain, etc...
Everything was perfect, and I’d like to thank the whole cycling team at Intersport Ste Maxime, who did a very professional job.

A shop with a wide selection of items. That’s really great!
The staff are attentive and friendly.

The shop is easy to get to and pleasant. And the service provided by the sales staff is commendable, it is very regrettable that this welcome is ruined when you reach the till, in particular by a cold, unfriendly and even haughty till assistant (despite a receipt for €180) who didn’t even pack the gift into the bag provided for that purpose: I had to carry my purchases myself, fold the garment neatly myself and put it into the gift pouch I’d been given – which wouldn’t close… without a piece of the shop’s adhesive tape. ‘Do it yourself’.
Indeed, one might sometimes be tempted to order online rather than buy the product from a local shop, if the customer service isn’t good enough to set it apart. What a shame.
