A wonderful, intimate holiday village where there’s an exceptionally warm and friendly atmosphere. Everything is well thought out and organised so that you can enjoy a week (or two 😄) of relaxation in a cheerful atmosphere. The cottage-style rooms aren’t exactly brand new, but honestly they’re still perfectly acceptable, and the rest of the facilities more than make up for it. A big thank you to the whole team for this wonderful stay.

The staff were helpful, friendly and caring. Of all the trips I’ve been on with my group from Lot-et-Garonne, this is definitely the one I’ve enjoyed the most. The staff are absolutely lovely and really look after your well-being. The bar staff were brilliant, and the dining room staff were brilliant too. The manager is a gem. The chefs – oh, the food! Gourmet cuisine, without exaggeration, right down to the presentation. A real treat. Brilliant entertainment – I’d love to come back for more. Thank you all; don’t change a thing – you’re perfect. You were so helpful – it was brilliant. Thank you for everything.

The last week of May 2026: a group stay for 22 people. From the very first point of contact, the booking was handled superbly. A warm welcome, and accommodation that had been refurbished and adapted where necessary. A varied and plentiful buffet at breakfast, with table service at lunch and dinner: starter, main course, cheese, dessert and coffee! Refined, well-balanced local dishes, elegantly presented. Well done to the teams in the kitchen, front of house, bar and housekeeping. We’ll be back at the end of August!

A wonderful stay We had a wonderful week at Cap France. 😊 We particularly appreciated the cleanliness and comfort of the large room, as well as the meals, which were always delicious, varied and beautifully presented. A big well done also to the kitchen staff for their kindness and warm welcome. We simply wish to share a small observation, with all due respect: as new guests, we sometimes felt we were treated a little differently from the regulars, who seem to be pampered a bit more. This may be entirely unintentional and you’re certainly not aware of it, but it’s a small detail that newcomers might pick up on. As regular guests of Cap France holidays, this is the first time we’ve had this impression, which is why we wanted to share it with you in a friendly way. ❤️ This in no way detracts from the quality of our stay, but we think that a little more attention towards new guests would be greatly appreciated, so that everyone feels just as welcome as the regulars. Thank you again for this lovely week and for all the hard work put in by your teams. 🌸

Firstly, the room key didn’t work. The window in the room was already damaged. It wasn’t possible to open the window just a crack, but at the same time it was possible to open it from the outside. So you had to worry about things being stolen if you wanted to sleep with the window ajar. Although I reported the situation to the staff straight away, nothing was repaired during my two-week stay. As a result, I slept rather poorly for most of my stay. The St Gabriel 1+3 rooms gave the impression of being somewhat worn, poorly built and poorly ventilated. In my daughter’s room, there wasn’t even a window. In my daughter’s bathroom, we even saw silverfish (insects). For that much money, I’d expected something better. The staff were, however, always friendly. As for the meals, the fish sometimes lacked flavour, and on one occasion the beef was very tough. For our taste, the meals were sometimes too elaborate, and there was even a bit too much fibre. My daughter didn’t like most of the meals. Asnelles is a nice little village with about ten shops. Because of the large amount of seaweed rotting on the beach, I’ve always had breathing problems (coughing and asthma). It was still interesting to see the landing craft, the memorial at Ver-sur-Mer, the museum at Arromanches, Claude Monet’s garden at Giverny, as well as Bayeux and, above all, its cathedral.
