I hired two mechanical bikes to cycle part of the Vélo Francette route: booking was easy via the Loki website, the bikes were in very good condition, and it was very easy to get in touch both by phone and in-store. I’d recommend this hire company.

We arrived in Saumur for a weekend without having booked any bikes, and most of the shops were fully booked. Cyclo Loire went out of their way to find us a solution quickly so that we could still enjoy the Loire à Vélo cycle route, all in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable, and they were even kind enough not to charge us for the whole day as we arrived around midday. The owner gives excellent advice and suggests brilliant routes, particularly for exploring the wine cellars and attractions around Saumur. They’re very accommodating and friendly – you can book with complete confidence!

Everything was perfect! The bikes were already ready when we arrived. The manager was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Given the time we had left, he even closed his shop 30 minutes early so we could make the most of it. Thank you so much again! We had a brilliant bike ride along the Loire! It was magnificent!

An absolutely fabulous hire service. An exceptional selection of high-quality bikes (e-bikes and standard bikes). If you opt for e-bikes, extra baskets for dogs are available – what a treat! I received an exceptional, personalised welcome from the owner in Saumur. Nothing was too much trouble for him. I highly recommend this place and I’d be delighted to go back next year. We hired four bikes for four hours, which allowed us to explore the banks of the Loire, the hillsides and the troglodyte villages. A warm welcome, good-quality bikes and easy to get the hang of. I’d recommend this place 😊
