Great experience, really friendly and even helped me planned my route to sete cidades. Unfortunately there was a problem with my bike the day i took it,which was nobody's fault. The owner was super helpful and let me take it out for another day free of charge. They even met me out of hours for pick up and drop off so i could take a ride on the Sunday when they were closed. Great bike Superb company. Highly recommended.

We rented two road bikes and they were great. Friendly and welcoming staff. They provided us with pump and inner tube which was helpful in case we needed it. Amazing rides around the island. Highly recommend this bike shop. Thank you Monbike Azores!!

You won't find this level of service anywhere in the world except Portugal. Below is a bit about my experience with Monbike Azores. 1 - The bike shop was easy to find. Plenty of parking in a modern mall. 2 - The bike shop was extremely nice. They carry everything including nutrition, accessories etc. I have rented in Europe and this was the nicest bike shop by far. If you forgot something at home don't worry. 3 - The road bike I rented ran extremely well. You can tell it was serviced by someone who cares about the bike. No noises, perfect shifting etc. The frame was likely a few years old and I would have loved some slicks instead of gravel tires but I guess this way it was more versatile. It seemed like the shop was geared more toward mountain / gravel. If that's your thing I think you'll get more options. 4 - I really feel bad about how many times these guys bent over backwards for me. They opened the bike shop on a Sunday and waited for me when I was late. I got the flu and couldn't bring my bike with me to the next hotel. They picked up my bike at the hotel. I forgot my Favero Assioma pedals on the bike and they shipped them back to the US for me. Outstanding human beings in this bike shop. They also felt bad and offered me a discount on my next rental. Location - Azores is beautiful and had some spectacular roads. I would highly recommend this as an alternative to the destinations in Spain.
