This lovely, family-run surf school made my stay in Lisbon unforgettable. Tiago, Pedro and their father Hélder taught me the basics of surfing. They are extremely kind, patient and attentive, and constantly made sure I was comfortable, which put me very much at ease (especially when the waves seemed a bit big to me!). They speak good English and also gave me the chance to practise the few words of Portuguese I was learning during my stay. Thanks to their warm welcome, I immediately felt at home. Their surfing dog, Johnny, was a lovely bonus! I highly recommend this school!

We took a beginners’ course on 15 December 2021. Communication via Facebook was very quick and efficient. We met up at the venue and had an enjoyable surfing session, led by a very accommodating instructor. We were able to change boards during the lesson. All in all, it was a very good experience. As an added bonus, we received photos and videos from our instructor, Helder de Fonseca.
