We highly recommend this school, situated right by Da Baia beach. The children in our family had their first taste of surfing last year, and this year’s four lessons were once again brilliant! The groups are small and tailored to the children’s ages. Raissa has been learning a few words of French for the past two years, but you don’t need long speeches to learn to surf! It’s a universal language! First and foremost, we’d like to thank Raissa for her patience, professionalism and cheerful disposition, her partner and, of course, Miguel! I’ve been surfing with this school for the last three summers and I’ve never been disappointed. The location is ideal, with direct access to the beach and perfect conditions for learning and improving your surfing.
What really sets this surf school apart is its brilliant team. Miguel is absolutely brilliant: friendly, welcoming, professional and always ready to help. From the moment you arrive, he and the whole team put you at ease. Everyone is genuinely warm, encouraging and passionate about their work.
The instructors tailor each lesson perfectly to your level and experience, whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refine more advanced techniques. Their approach ensures that everyone, regardless of age or ability, gets the most out of every session. The personalised attention each student receives makes all the difference and enables you to progress with confidence.
What I appreciate most is the way they create a friendly, safe and stimulating atmosphere, whilst maintaining a high level of professionalism. After three consecutive summers, I can say without hesitation that this is one of the best surf schools in Espinho.
