The rental company gave us a warm welcome; the location is ideal for exploring the greenway – a former railway line that has been resurfaced, allowing you to cycle in complete tranquillity through the countryside of the Dordogne. You’ll cross an old bridge overlooking a pretty village, pass through wooded areas, ride alongside walnut trees, and go through an old, lit tunnel, amongst other things… A lovely way to spend your time.

A warm and attentive owner. Equipment in very good condition. A wide range of bikes: electric bikes, full-suspension mountain bikes with disc brakes, beach cruisers, hybrid bikes, and a wide range of accessories for the whole family: child seats, a small trailer for transporting your pet or a picnic, and of course helmets, locks, puncture-proof tyres and a detailed map of cycle routes. It’s the cheapest hire shop on the greenway. If you have any problems, you’ll be assisted right where you are, at no extra cost. As an added bonus, they offer ice creams and chilled drinks.

We hired two bikes and a trailer for our daughters (aged 20 months and 3 years). The bikes were in good condition, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The route from this starting point is brilliant – a 10-kilometre ride to a small beach that’s perfect for a picnic.

The rental staff gave us a warm welcome and offered some advice. The location is ideal for exploring the cycle path – a pleasant and safe ride as it’s away from traffic. The route is fairly flat (with just one or two small hills), so it’s an easy ride. The bikes are fairly well-maintained, although they’re not particularly comfortable. That said, the price is reasonable – you can’t have it all...
