My daughter took her electric bike to Retropédalage to have a puncture in the rear tyre repaired. As she hadn’t thought to ask for a quote before the work was carried out, she discovered when it came to paying that the price was around 60 per cent higher than what another repairer usually charges for a similar service. The repair was carried out, but this experience highlights the importance of finding out about prices and asking for a quote before handing your bike over. This helps to avoid unpleasant surprises of this sort.
