My daughter took her electric bike to Retropédalage to have a puncture in the rear wheel repaired. As she hadn’t thought to ask for a quote before the work was carried out, she discovered when it came to paying that the price was around 60 per cent higher than that usually charged by another repairer for a similar service. The repair was carried out, but this experience highlights the importance of finding out about prices and asking for a quote before handing over your bike. This helps to avoid unpleasant surprises of this sort.
