The Falcn Essential builds on the success of the Falcn RS. The performance geometry and 34-millimeter tire clearance are identical, and the fork crown diffuser and universal derailleur hanger (UDH) are also retained.
This geometry has been carefully designed by Ridley product developers focusing on speed, stability, and responsiveness. The head tube length is shorter than that of the Noah Fast and Helium SLX, which allows for a more aggressive riding position. The bottom bracket is lower as it has been adapted for riding with thicker tires, enabling the cyclist to maintain excellent control.
The differences lie in the round seatpost on the Falcn Essential (compared to a D-shaped seatpost on the Falcn RS) and the carbon composition. Nevertheless, the frame of the Falcn Essential weighs only 990 grams.
