Sun-E-Bike - Les Alpilles

My boyfriend and I booked the x4 hr picnic bike ride and we absolutely loved it! The staff were so friendly and couldn’t be more helpful, they planned a beautiful route for us and we honestly just had the best time on this trip. Also the picnic was a delight, very substantial and very good value for money. Highly recommend.

This was our family’s favorite part of our visit to St Remy. The bikes are in great shape and still had about 30% charge at the end of the day. We went about 10km out of the way because we weren’t paying close enough attention to the map - we rode a total of 62km and the suggested route is 52km. We stopped at Carrieres des Lumieres for 90 minutes (old limestone quarry where they project a Monet art show on the walls), maybe an hour for lunch plus another hour’s worth of breaks / photo stops. We left Sun E Bikes a little after 9am and returned at 5:45pm. They close at 5pm but were still there closing up shop when we got back. Very cool experience. Absolutely get the ebike unless you are in phenomenal shape. We would do it again if we came back.

Excellent service and probably the best bikes we’ve ever hired. There were no issues at all in the two weeks we hired them, and we covered a lot of miles! The bikes were in very good condition. The staff at Sun E Bikes were super friendly and spoke very good English too.

Great experience with the e-bike and with the app! The shop provides an app that outlines the itinerary - and mostly avoids the car roads (mostly!). The motor was very much needed on the way to Baux de Provence. It was a beautiful day of discovery and varying landscapes. You can also buy tickets to Carriere from the shop which helps you get into a different line there. Carriere-Baux are two stops worth making 100% Highly recommend!
