We hired city bikes for 1 hour at €4 per bike. The hire process was very quick and easy. The bikes were good quality. You need to get a bit of a move on to cycle round the city and visit all the main attractions in an hour; it’s best to allow two hours.

A warm welcome awaits you here. It’s a stress-free experience thanks to Gian Luca’s easy-going nature. He had everything ready and waiting for us first thing in the morning. And we were given an excellent route (40k, which included the walls of Lucca) to cycle.

We hired two Vespas in April 2026. There were a few administrative formalities to sort out when we collected the motorbikes, of course, but it only took a few minutes. Then it was off to the Tuscan countryside! Pure bliss from 10 am to 6 pm, when we returned the motorbikes after filling up with petrol! The only slight downside was that the phone holder, attached to the conical stem of one of the rear-view mirrors, sometimes tended to come loose.

We had a brilliant time renting electric bikes. The customer service was impeccable from start to finish: friendly, helpful and full of humour. The bikes were brilliant and made exploring the beautiful Tuscan countryside a real pleasure. We had an unforgettable ride and highly recommend hiring e-bikes here 🤗

Exceptional service and top-of-the-range bikes! Our bike hire experience at the Lucca Tourist Centre was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we arrived, the whole team were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making the whole process very straightforward. A big thank you to Andrea, who was brilliant and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect day’s cycling. The bikes were in perfect condition – clearly very well maintained and of high quality. My partner chose a classic bike and I went for an e-bike; both worked a treat. It was without a doubt the best way to explore the city walls and the charming streets of Lucca. If you’re looking for friendly service and reliable kit, this is the place to go. We couldn’t have asked for more!
