As with other reviews, I find the after-sales service and workshop highly questionable for a shop of this reputation. It took three weeks after my purchase to get my bike back (I was the one who ended up having to ring them). They eventually ‘tinkered with the casing’ – which hadn’t been supplied by the supplier. When my partner went to collect it, the front tyre was flat. The young sales assistant retorted, “It’s fine, it’s not completely flat.” I’d assumed that after such a long wait, I wouldn’t have had any problems at all, and the least they could have done was to keep a low profile!
Just before that, I’d been using the e-bike bought by a friend there a few years ago, which had only just come back from a service at the shop’s workshop, and yet I noticed that the rear brake disc was loosely fitted whilst the front tyre was rubbing… Absolutely not reassuring. A friend had warned me that their workshop wasn’t up to scratch, and I can confirm that. In future, I’ll have my servicing done elsewhere, even though the shop sells some lovely products.
