Would 100% recommend. The guy who works at the shop is so helpful and goes out of his way to accommodate you. He even opened outside of shop hours for us to collect and drop off the bikes around our holiday schedule. The bikes were in great condition and a reasonable price. Lots of add on items including panniers for no additional cost. Would definitely rent bikes from them again.

I rented 2 mountain bikes for around 2 weeks during a recent trip to Portugal. I had really good communication in making the booking and great customer service. Upon arrival, the bikes were ready to go as promised, along with all the accessories (pump, lights, helmets, tools, patch kit, etc. The bikes were, in general, good quality and in good condition. However the drive trains (chains and cogs) were very worn and in need of replacement. We ended up with a broken chain which we had to repair, making the chain shorter, as the chain could not be replaced without changing all of the cogs. We also had lots of tire problems, but that’s all part of cycling. Overall it was a very good rental experience and I can definitely recommend Velurb to others. Great service at a reasonable price.

We rented 2 gravel bikes for our bike trip along the camino and it was the best decision to choose this shop and these bikes! We were very spontaneous in our decision to go by bike and it was not a problem to come by the very same day and start our journey. The bikeshop owner was most friendly and provided locks, helmets, bikebags and even the possibility to leave our luggage there. He was always available and very helpful when I had a problem with my bike on the way. In the end I had to get my bike fixed in a bikeshop in Spain and he paid for the reparation. The bikes were in a very good condition, too. Strong recommendation!

I rented a bike for the Camino with Verlub and it was a great experience. The bike was so comfy and very suitable for the terrain of the Camino, I definitely appreciated having suspension. The bike came with all the equipment like helmet and panniers and it was all really good quality. I had no issues with the bike for the five days I used it for and I was able to send it back to Porto at the end. Thank you

Joao was incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond! My bike tour is done, and I needed a bike box, and some packing materials to put around the bike, which he provided no problem. Then he called the taxi company, because i had a 5 AM flight, and needed to be picked up basically in the middle of the night with a vehicle.Big enough for the bike box. He made sure they knew all the details. Great shop, highly recommended!
