Renting a snowboard in Valmorel gives you the opportunity to enjoy a real mountain village and a varied playground, between forests, wide slopes and panoramic ridges. Nestled at the entrance to the Tarentaise region, the resort's slopes range in altitude from 1,400 to 2,500 m, and are ideal for gentle progress or for sending off beautiful curves when the snow is cold.

In the morning, set off early to ski on snow that is often more compact and grippy. After a recent fall, opt for wooded areas, sheltered from the wind and very pleasant when visibility drops. When the sun is shining brightly, climb to the higher slopes for a panoramic view of the Col de la Madeleine, then return to the better-exposed slopes when the snow warms up in the early afternoon.
