The problem is that this (compulsive) happiness is illusory, ephemeral. It keeps us stuck on our sofa in a vegetative state, waiting for that long-awaited parcel.
How can we get out of this infernal spiral, which is unsustainable for the planet?
We need to redefine free time, to give priority to being rather than having.
Let's stop being robbed of our most precious possession and rediscover the pleasure of going out, through leisure activities.
