A wonderful family-friendly campsite where life is good, but above all a place where young and old alike can relax. Whether it’s swimming, on the slide, in the playground, at the fishing pond or by the river, parents can rest easy knowing their children are safe. The hot water in the showers at all hours was appreciated by everyone! We’d like to thank the whole campsite team, who served us cold beers at all hours with a warm smile, and who were always happy to provide impeccable service. Thank you for the pétanque, the lovely evenings, the smiles, the hospitality and the warm welcome. Thank you for sharing your little slice of paradise with all these strangers.

This was our first family camping trip, and we’re really glad we chose Camping des Castors. We hired the 6-person bungalow and really enjoyed it. I’d like to thank the team who run this campsite for their hard work. They were very helpful and went out of their way to sort things out for us whenever we needed it. I’d give it a sixth star if there were mosquito nets on the windows 🤔. But on our next visit to Alsace, we’ll definitely be staying at Les Castors again – though this time in one of the Alsatian cottages, which looked really lovely.

We come and spend a few days every year on a pitch with our tent; the welcome is always warm – it’s the ideal place to have a lovely time with the family! Whether you’re coming from near or far, a quick detour to the Camping des Castors is guaranteed to create some wonderful memories! A lake with a sandy beach for swimming, brilliant inflatable play structures, a large playground and a basketball court. A lovely terrace for picnics or simply having a drink. The toilet blocks are cleaned several times a day. Quiet at night. We love it! Thank you

I had a really lovely experience during this one-day stay on a motorhome pitch. I found this campsite very pleasant, with a variety of flat pitches (sunny or shaded). Ideal for children as there are loads of play areas all over the place and you can swim in a small pond with a beach. Easy access and the Doller cycle path nearby, 20 km to Sewen.

Regarding the restaurant: ‘All-you-can-eat mussels and chips’… really? We booked this restaurant precisely because we’d seen a poster on Facebook advertising all-you-can-eat mussels and chips. There were five of us. One person had chosen the mussels and chips with a different sauce and was therefore served their own individual pan. For the other four of us, we were served a large casserole dish… which contained no more than two and a half portions. So far, so good: since it was advertised as ‘all-you-can-eat’, we simply thought we’d just ask for a refill. Except… no. We were told that tonight it wasn’t all-you-can-eat and that, apparently, ‘last week it was advertised as all-you-can-eat, but not tonight’. Except that I showed him the Facebook post straight away… At that point, of course, there wasn’t much more he could say. As compensation, and at our request: a frozen pizza for four people… And when we asked for a little extra gesture: “Yes, but we’ve already given you the pizza.” And the best bit? Ten minutes later, two other tables asked for a second helping and were served fresh pans of mussels 🤔 If an offer is no longer valid, the least they could do is let customers know when they’re ordering. Because booking an ‘all-you-can-eat’ meal, only to be told that it would mean the restaurant would lose money… It’s enough to leave you baffled… A particularly disappointing experience, especially given the lack of consideration and professionalism. It’s not so much the fact that there weren’t enough mussels that’s the problem, but rather the way the situation was handled, leaving us feeling as though we were being taken lightly...
