I stayed for one night at the “Luna Residence Hotel” in Casalmaggiore on 9 July during my cycling trip this year. The hotel is in a good location, not too far from the centre of Casalmaggiore. The residence is a traditional-style house with an inner courtyard. You are
welcomed by the owner, who is friendly and cheerful and speaks a little French. My bike was parked in the (secure) cycle park. I stayed in a room (No. 5) with a kitchenette, suitable for two people; it was comfortable and had a lovely bathroom with a shower, and everything was very clean. Breakfast is generous (sweet and savoury options). Wi-Fi is free. Very good value for money. I recommend this place to cycle tourists.

We spent a night at this hotel, which is in a great location. The room was a comfortable double room, and the service was impeccable. I’d recommend it.

Hello, we’d booked a Deluxe studio online via Booking.com, but on arrival we were offered a family room. We went back to reception, the receptionist told us he’d sent a message to let us know the studio wasn’t available – we never received anything. He then offered to give us a second room, but we refused because the studio we’d booked had a kitchen, He started by telling us there were no more studios available, then told us we could have the Deluxe studio as planned if we paid a €30 surcharge. Given the time of day, we were forced to pay to get the accommodation as originally booked; we clearly felt we’d been taken for a ride... What’s more, the receptionist didn’t speak a word of English and was very rude.
