Marina di Carrara is a wonderful place to discover by bike: a resort between sea and mountains, with long, pleasant straights and a relaxed atmosphere. A few pedal strokes and you're on your way from beaches to pine-lined avenues, then to panoramic views of the Apuan Alps cutting across the horizon.

The seafront is ideal for an easy outing, solo, as a couple or with the family. Set off early to enjoy the soft light and cooler temperatures, pause near the pontoons to watch the activity in the port, then continue to the quieter areas towards the nearby beaches. If you prefer a more sporty ride, you can venture inland: the roads become slightly hilly and offer superb views.
