Want to discover Neuilly-sur-Seine in a different way? Hop on a bike for a ride along the banks of the Seine and enjoy the peaceful, elegant atmosphere. Only a few pedal strokes from the heart of Paris, this affluent district offers well-marked cycle paths, superb views over the water and a succession of squares where it's good to take a break.

You'll first cycle along the Île de la Jatte, famous for its Impressionist painters, before admiring the modern silhouette of La Défense on the other side of the Pont de Neuilly. From there, head for the Bois de Boulogne for an inhalation of greenery: under the century-old plane trees, the shady paths invite you to take a ride on a mountain bike or electric bike, as you wish. Afterwards, a return trip along the Cours de la Reine will take you back to Neuilly, overlooking the Seine and its ebb and flow of barges.
