Rent a bike in Suresnes: rates, routes and tips

A charming little town on the banks of the Seine, Suresnes can be discovered from a completely different angle by bike. As soon as you start pedaling, you'll fall under the spell of the grandiose panorama of Mont-Valérien park, where wooded paths lead to a belvedere offering a breathtaking view of Paris and La Défense. Further down, quiet boulevards and landscaped quays invite you to reach the city center in just a few minutes, or to pedal to Neuilly-sur-Seine via the Louis-Blériot footbridge.

Pedal along the riverbanks and you'll soon reach the Suresnes bridge, where a secure cycle path leads to the Parc de Saint-Cloud. Here, between rose gardens and undergrowth, you can vary the pleasures with a mountain bike, or opt for an electric bike if you want to spare your strength and climb effortlessly. What's more, Suresnes' proximity to Boulogne-Billancourt and La Défense means you can extend your ride all the way to the ultra-modern towers, a perfect blend of historic heritage and contemporary architecture.

Suresnes' temperate climate makes for pleasant cycling from spring through to autumn. Mornings are often cool, so don't forget a jacket and sunglasses for sunny afternoons. In addition, a light windbreaker and a well-stocked water bottle guarantee a smooth ride, even if a few showers do occur in summer.

To ride with complete peace of mind, remember to check the battery level of your electric two-wheeler, adjust the saddle to your height and attach a sturdy anti-theft device before every break. Cyclists will also appreciate the secure bike parks near the town hall and the rapid repair workshops open during the week. Finally, keep the rules of the road in mind: hands on the handlebars, clear signals and respect for pedestrians make every excursion a convivial experience.

Between culture, nature and urban panoramas, Suresnes is a land of discoveries to be explored without moderation. Whether you choose a quiet route along the Seine or a more athletic route to the Saint-Cloud forest, renting a bike in Suresnes is the best way to enjoy every corner of this city and its surroundings. Get on your two-wheeler and let us guide you to new horizons!

We took the bike trip to Monet Gardens. OJ and Tobias were a fun crew. They took care of the details and made sure everyone had an enjoyable experience. It starts with a one hour bus ride to Vernon with details about Monet and Impressionist art along the route. Tonia’s has a degree in art history and OJ a background in cinema and French history. Arriving in Vernon there was a very nice farmers market where we loaded up on things to eat at our picnic about 10 mins bike ride away, right over the bridge. This was the only section that had an incline and the guys said to walk the bikes in this very short section if necessary. It rained on our ride to Monet’s house and garden after the picnic but stopped just as we arrived. The skip-the-line tickets provided by the tour were definitely worthwhile as it saved us a 90 minute queue for visitors without advance tickets. They allowed about 2 hours to at the house and gardens which gave plenty of time for a self guided tour and get a coffee before the return bike ride to Vernon (in the sun). After returning to Paris, OJ and Tobias provided recommendations for shopping and eating. We tried Cafe du Commerce and it was awesome. Highly recommend this tour and guides.

Edde was a phenomenal tour guide with Holland bikes and the ouicycle city excursion we got to enjoy today! He did an outstanding job, giving us an overview of the city and the highlights for our first time in Paris! He was super personable and engaging, especially with our two daughters (11 and 9). This was far better than a tuk tuk Tour which I had been considering, but I’m so so glad we chose this instead. What a unique way to explore the city! Strong recommend recommendations for Holland bikes here in Paris and especially the guide… request Edde for sure!

Leo was so helpful and he speaks English. He showed us how to use the bikes, lock them up and gave us some suggestions of nice places. It was incredibly easy to get around Paris because of the bike lanes. We had no issues and we are both 63 year old Canadians. Biking was actually so much fun and we got to every thing very quickly. There was lots of traffic but still we got around easily. 100% would rent from Leo and his team! The bikes were reliable and we got to see stuff we would have missed on a bus or taxi.

I bought my (first) electric bike in August 2025 on a whim and received a very warm welcome at this shop. I was given excellent advice and was able to try out two models before making my choice. They also helped me choose the various accessories (basket, child seat, lock, phone holder, etc.), and the technician assembled it. Since then, I've been very happy with my choice. I use it every day for work (about 50 minutes a day), and it's a real pleasure! I highly recommend this shop and wouldn't hesitate to return for my next purchase.
