Where can you pick up your bike on the island?

Can I rent a bike in winter or in low season?

Yes. Around ten rental companies (including Réavélo, Beach Bikes, Les Vélos de l'Île de Ré) are open all year round. Off-season prices can be 20% to 30% lower than in summer.

What is the range for a VAE on the Île de Ré?

Standard VAEs offer 60 to 80 km of range, more than enough for a day's ride with a return trip to the store. For a complete tour of the island (70 km), opt for a VAE long range (100-120 km).

Can we rent a bike with a baby seat, trailer or follower?
