Partanna is a town in western Sicily, in the Belice Valley, an authentic, off-the-beaten-path region between Trapani and Agrigento. It is a region where the true essence of Sicily reveals itself without pretense: agricultural landscapes of wheat fields and vineyards, the scent of sulfur and carob trees, and villages that have only recently been rebuilt after the 1968 earthquake.
