Ski Touring Pack + Safety Pack
This pack includes the necessary gear for a ski touring outing, as well as avalanche rescue equipment for one person.
The pack includes:
- a pair of touring skis with Dynafit insert bindings;
- a compatible pair of boots;
- poles and climbing skins;
- a DVA ARVA EVO4, a shovel, and a probe;
- steels available upon request.
What ski size to choose?
Use skis that measure 5 to 15 cm shorter than your height as a reference.
If you are unsure between two lengths:
- choose the shorter one to facilitate transitions and gain maneuverability on the ascent;
- choose the longer one to prioritize stability and comfort on the descent.
What boot size to choose?
Select your usual shoe size. If in doubt, measure your foot from the heel to the longest toe.
How does the equipment work?
On the ascent, the skins attach under the skis for grip. The insert bindings allow the heel to be released for walking. For the descent, remove the skins and lock the bindings in ski mode.
The steels, available upon request, provide additional grip on hard or icy snow.
